The Challenge
Women’s football in Egypt lacks digital visibility, structured data access, and community engagement—leading to low fan turnout, poor media coverage, and minimal scouting opportunities. Despite growing talent and dedication, the infrastructure to support the ecosystem digitally remains nearly nonexistent, limiting the sport’s reach and potential growth.
The Solution
Samba was created as a centralized platform that merges the emotional connection of fandom with the functionality of real-time data and interactive features. The app allows fans to follow matches, stats, and players, while offering gamified elements like ScoreCast and milestone badges to deepen engagement. It also creates verified spaces for players, coaches, and scouts to connect and share stories, making women’s football more visible and exciting.
The Result
The project successfully reimagined the user experience around women’s football in Egypt by delivering a full digital ecosystem through a culturally resonant brand. By integrating both emotional and informative layers, Samba provides a scalable and inclusive solution that not only boosts viewership and fandom but also supports career opportunities and long-term community growth in the sport.
